Philanthropi cares about everyone in our community, including LGBTQIA+ individuals. We believe in treating everyone fairly and equitably, which is why we are highlighting nonprofit organizations that support LGBTQIA+ people during the month of June. These organizations work to make sure everyone feels safe, respected, and included. We want to create a world where everyone can be themselves without fear of discrimination.

Our support for these nonprofits is cemented in our belief in doing what is right and ensuring everyone is treated with kindness and respect. We are here for everyone, no matter who they are or who they love.

GLSEN

At GLSEN, they want every student, in every school, to be valued and treated with respect, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. They believe that all students deserve a safe and inclusive school environment where they can learn and grow. They accomplish their goals by working in hallways across the country — from Congress and the Department of Education to schools and district offices in your community — to improve school climate and champion LGBT issues in K-12 education.

Every day GLSEN works to ensure that LGBTQ students are able to learn and grow in a school environment free from bullying and harassment. Together, we can transform our nation’s K-12 schools into the safe and affirming environment all youth deserve.
